Yay for my mini-Alan Rickman movie marathon (on his birthday, haha) which led me to taking out this comedy! Featuring Alan Rickman, Sigourney Weaver, Tim Allen, and Tony Shaloub, this rather well put together comedy is a great movie for all ages.
Galaxy Quest (1999) pokes fun at acting, actors, and a little bit at the fans (good-naturedly, of course). This movie is roughly about a veteran cast of a space-themed television show who get mixed up with some intergalactic visitors who need their help, thinking they are the real deal.
Totally worth seeing though if you're in the mood for a nice throw-back and a good laugh. Tony Shaloub shines in this movie with his deliverance of lines.
