This Is It (2009). Michael Jackson. Wow. What is there to say? The man had amazing music, and yet, in his later years his life deteriorated. He was mocked by the public and shunned. These were the same people, who, when he died, remembered how great an artist he really was, and the contributions he's made to pop music.
I saw this movie in the theaters when it came out. It was a very touching experience to watch this documentary. This is a compilation of the rehearsals for Michael Jackson's last planned tour... and let me say, it was going to be amazing. Watching the movie, you were able to see the dance moves, the new twists and turns on things- as well as the crew that was working with him and the behind-the-scenes things you normally wouldn't see (like the new creations being invented for outfits).
If you have ever liked Michael Jackson's work, then you should see this. It's a documentary which stands as a fitting tribute to a music legend who will be greatly missed.
